ZF-616 Polyester Fiber Woven Wire Coating Water-Based Resin

    Product Description

This product is a water-based modified single-component self-crosslinking polymer resin used for the surface finishing and coating of high-temperature silicone-coated wires woven with polyester fibers. It is solvent-free and provides a green and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional AB-type silicone resin coatings.

    Product Features

    1. Simple application, direct dip coating and drying, fast drying speed, and no harmful substance emissions.

    2. Strong adhesion to chemical fibers, good adhesion between the chemical fiber layer and the silicone resin layer.

    3. Dry and crisp feel, no cracking when bent, anti-aging, wear-resistant, water-resistant, and high-temperature resistant.

    4. If coloring is required, high-temperature water-based color paste can be added directly, with good color fastness and natural surface gloss.

    Reference Process

    1. Mixing:

    ZF-616 Water-based resin 85~90 kg

    Pure water 10~15 kg

Water-based color paste (can be omitted for dyed wire weaving) 2~3 kg

Mix the above manually at low speed for about 5 minutes, let it stand for 10 minutes before use.

    2. Drying temperature and wire speed setting: For reference only. Due to differences in equipment among companies, the specific temperature and wire speed should be set to ensure complete drying. First stage temperature 80-90℃, second stage temperature 110-120℃, third stage temperature 90-100℃

    3. This product is normally applied in a single coat. If special needs arise, ZF616 can be used as a dyeing base layer, and the surface layer can be coated with silicone resin.

    Precautions

    1. When applying the adhesive, the glue tank level must exceed the top of the rolling shaft, otherwise it will affect the amount of adhesive applied.

    2. The ideal scraper mold is made of hard rubber with different apertures. The aperture should be larger than the wire diameter, approximately 0.2-0.3mm larger, allowing the mold to move easily up and down the wire.

    3. The scraper mold should be at least 120cm above the glue tank to allow the glue to fully penetrate the fiberglass.

    4. When coloring, water-soluble color paste must be used; oil-based color paste is prohibited.

    5. If bubbles or small particles appear on the surface of the wire after adhesive application and drying, check if the temperature is too high and lower the first stage temperature.

    6. If the finished product after dyeing and setting shows loose woven wires or poor adhesion to the silicone layer, it is usually due to incomplete drying or insufficient adhesive application.

    7. Unused adhesive should be poured into a collection bucket and covered. It can be reused next time. Before reuse, check the appearance of the remaining adhesive. If gelation, mildew, stratification, or particles are present, it cannot be reused, otherwise it will affect the use effect.
