ZF-313
ZF-313A Fiberglass Braided Wire Dyeing Coating Water-Based Resin
Product Description
This product is a water-based rubber-type polymer resin used for dyeing, shaping, and finishing the surface of high-temperature silicone rubber wires made of fiberglass braiding. It is solvent-free and replaces traditional AB-type silicone resin coatings for a more environmentally friendly option.
Physicochemical Indicators
▪ Appearance | : | Milky white emulsion |
▪ Solids Content (%) | : | 38±1 |
▪ Viscosity (mpa.s) | : | 50~150 |
▪ Acidity/Alkalinity | : | 7-8 |
Product Features
1. Simple application: direct dip coating and drying, fast drying speed, no harmful substance emission.
2. Strong adhesion to fiberglass, no unraveling after cutting, good adhesion between the fiberglass layer and the silicone resin layer.
3. Dry and smooth feel, no cracking when bent, anti-aging, wear-resistant, water-resistant, and high-temperature resistant.
4. Easy to color, directly mix with high-temperature water-based color paste, good color fastness, and natural surface gloss.
Reference Process
1. Mixing:
ZF-313A water-based resin 100 kg
Water-based color paste (high-temperature resistant type) 2~3 kg
Water-based curing agent (Zhongfang matching) 1 kg
Stir the above manually at low speed for about 5 minutes, let it stand for 10 minutes before use.
2. Drying temperature and line speed setting: For reference only. Due to differences in equipment among companies, the specific temperature and line speed should be set to ensure complete drying.
First stage temperature 80~90℃, second stage temperature 110~120℃, third stage temperature 90~100℃
3. This product is normally applied in a single coat. If special needs arise, ZF313A can be used as a dyeing base coat, and the surface layer can be coated with silicone resin.
Precautions
1. When applying the adhesive, the glue tank level must exceed the top of the rolling shaft, otherwise it will affect the amount of adhesive on the wire.
2. The ideal doctor blade is made of hard rubber with different apertures. The aperture should be larger than the wire diameter, approximately 0.2~0.3mm larger, allowing the mold to move easily up and down the wire.
3. The doctor blade should be at least 120cm above the glue tank to allow the glue to fully penetrate the fiberglass.
4. When coloring, water-soluble color paste must be used; oil-based color paste is prohibited.
5. If bubbles or small particles appear on the surface of the wire after drying, check if the temperature is too high and lower the first stage temperature.
6. If the finished product after dyeing and shaping shows loose braided wires or poor adhesion to the silicone layer, it is usually due to incomplete drying or low adhesive application.
7. Unused glue should be poured into a collection bucket and covered. It can be reused next time. Before reuse, check the appearance of the remaining glue. If gelation, mildew, stratification, or particles appear, it cannot be reused, otherwise it will affect the use effect.
