PU628 Water-Based Resin for Textile Coating and Dyeing
Product Description
This product is a hybrid water-based resin produced using functional monomer-modified aliphatic polyurethane, resulting in a soft film. It is used for textile coating and dyeing finishing.
Dyeing Principle
Coating dyeing involves preparing a dispersion of water-based color paste, water-based resin, water, and a fixing agent in a certain proportion. This dispersion is then applied evenly to the fabric through padding or coating processes, followed by high-temperature drying. The water-based resin forms a colored resin film on the fabric, mechanically fixing the pigment to the fibers or fabric, resulting in a textile with a specific color.
Physicochemical Indicators
▪ Appearance | : | Milky white emulsion |
▪ Solids Content (%) | : | 38±1 |
▪ PH Value | : | 7-8 |
▪ Viscosity (mpa.s) | : | ≤500m |
▪ Ionicity | : | Anionic |
Product Characteristics
▪ Strong applicability, suitable for single-sided or double-sided coating and dyeing of various textiles such as cotton, linen, viscose fiber, polyester, and nylon.
▪ Intuitive textile dyeing color matching, easy color reproduction, and good color fastness.
▪ Low wastewater discharge, meeting the requirements of "green" production.
▪ Stable coating hue, strong covering power, and less prone to dyeing defects.
▪ Complete coating color spectrum, good wet processing fastness, and the ability to produce special colors that cannot be achieved with general dyeing processes, which is beneficial for increasing product added value.
▪ Free of harmful substances such as APEO, formaldehyde, and heavy metals; it is an environmentally friendly emulsion.
Process Flow
Padding dyeing solution (multiple padding-rolling, roll-up rate 65%~70%, room temperature) → Infrared pre-drying → Hot air drying → Baking (155℃, 3min) → Washing.
Precautions
▪ The temperature during padding should not be too high, generally room temperature, to prevent premature reaction of the adhesive, causing serious roller sticking and hindering normal dyeing.
▪ Pre-drying should use non-contact drying methods, such as infrared or hot air drying, and not roller drying.
▪ The drying temperature must be low first and then high, otherwise it will affect the dyeing fastness.
▪ When dyeing cellulose and protein fiber products, the baking temperature should not be too high, otherwise the fabric will easily turn yellow and cause varying degrees of damage to the fabric.
▪ When used for textile dyeing, sometimes in order to remove impurities remaining on the fabric and improve the feel, appropriate washing with detergent can be used for post-treatment.
Packaging and Transportation
▪ This product is packaged in plastic barrels, with a net weight of 50Kg or 125Kg.
▪ This product is a water-based emulsion, non-flammable, non-explosive, and transported as non-hazardous goods.
▪ This product should be stored and transported at 5-35℃, with a shelf life of one year.
