    PU828

Water-based resin for dyeing PU828 rope

    Product Description

This product is a hybrid water-based resin emulsion produced by modifying aliphatic polyurethane with functional monomers. It forms a soft film and is especially suitable for dyeing and setting textile fabrics, high-strength high-modulus polyethylene ropes, nets, webbing, water hoses, and fishing lines.

    Dyeing Principle

Rope dyeing and setting involves preparing a dispersion of water, water-based resin, water-based color paste, and fixing agent in a certain proportion. This dispersion is evenly applied through a padding process, followed by high-temperature drying. The water-based resin forms a colored resin film on the fabric, physically adhering the pigment to the fibers, resulting in a colored rope with water and abrasion resistance.

    Process Flow

Padding dyeing solution (one dip-pad, room temperature) → Infrared drying (infrared or hot air) → Drying (80~120℃, 2~5min) → Post-treatment → Inspection → Packaging.

    Precautions

    ▪ The temperature during padding should not be too high, generally room temperature. The working solution should not be prepared more than 24 hours in advance to prevent premature reaction of the water-based resin ester, which can cause serious thickening and prevent normal dyeing.

    ▪ Drying should be done using non-contact methods, such as infrared or hot air drying; drum drying should not be used.

    ▪ Thorough drying is necessary; otherwise, color fastness and wear resistance will be affected.

    Packaging and Transportation

    ▪ This product is packaged in plastic barrels with a net weight of 50Kg or 125Kg.

    ▪ This product is a water-based emulsion, non-flammable, and non-explosive; it is transported as non-hazardous goods.

    ▪ This product should be stored and transported at 5-35℃, with a shelf life of 6 months.
