PU628-69
PU628-69 polyurethane emulsion for dyeing fire hoses
Product Description
This product is a hybrid water-based polyurethane emulsion produced using a functional monomer-modified aliphatic polyurethane, resulting in a soft film. It is used for dyeing fire hoses and civilian textile woven water pipes.
Dyeing Principle
Hose dyeing involves preparing a dispersion of water, water-based polyurethane emulsion, water-based color paste, and curing agent in a certain proportion. Through padding, the hose is evenly coated with the colored liquid, followed by high-temperature drying. The water-based polyurethane emulsion forms a colored resin film on the fabric, mechanically fixing the pigment to the fibers, creating a colored fire hose with wear and water resistance.
Physicochemical Indicators
▪ Appearance | : | Milky white emulsion |
▪ Solids Content (%) | : | 36±1 |
▪ PH Value | : | 7-8 |

Product Characteristics
▪ Primarily used for dyeing polyester and polyester-cotton fire hoses
▪ Good color fastness, wear-resistant, and water-resistant
▪ Stable color hue, strong covering power, no color difference, and less prone to dyeing defects
▪ The dyed surface has good aging resistance, does not become sticky at high temperatures, and does not mildew
▪ Free of APEO, formaldehyde, heavy metals, and other harmful substances; it is an environmentally friendly emulsion

Process Flow
Padding dyeing solution (one dip-pad, room temperature) → Infrared drying (infrared or hot air) → Drying (80~120℃, 2~5min) → Post-treatment → Inspection → Packaging.
Precautions
▪ The temperature during padding should not be too high, generally room temperature. The preparation time of the working solution should not exceed 24 hours to prevent premature reaction of the water-based polyurethane, causing serious thickening and preventing normal dyeing.
▪ Drying should use contactless drying methods, such as infrared or hot air drying, and not cylinder drying.
▪ Thorough drying is necessary; otherwise, color fastness and wear resistance will be affected.
Packaging and Transportation
▪ This product is packaged in plastic barrels with a net weight of 50Kg or 125Kg.
▪ This product is a water-based emulsion, non-flammable, and non-explosive; it is transported as non-hazardous goods.
▪ This product should be stored and transported at 5-35℃, with a shelf life of 6 months.
