    PU328-18K High-Viscosity Water-Based Resin for Bright Dyeing of Fire Hoses

    Product Description

    This product is a high-viscosity water-based resin produced by hybridizing acrylic monomers and aliphatic polyurethane. The film is soft and glossy. It is specifically used for bright coating and dyeing of fire hoses.

     

    Dyeing Principle

    Fire hose membrane coating dyeing involves creating a coating adhesive by mixing water-based resin, water-based color paste, and color fixative in a certain proportion. The coating is applied evenly to the surface of the hose using a coating process, then dried at a high temperature. The water-based resin forms a colored resin film on the surface, creating a bright, water-resistant, and wear-resistant colored fire hose.

    Process Flow

    Mechanical coating (room temperature) → Infrared drying (infrared or hot air) → Drying (80~120℃, 5~8min) → Post-treatment → Inspection → Packaging.

     

    Precautions

    ▪ The dyeing coating adhesive should not be prepared for more than 24 hours to prevent premature reaction of the water-based resin, which may cause serious thickening or skinning, thus hindering normal dyeing.

    ▪ Drying should be done using non-contact methods, such as infrared or hot air drying; drum drying is not recommended.

    ▪ Thorough drying is necessary; otherwise, color fastness and membrane gloss will be affected.

     

    Packaging and Transportation

    ▪ This product is packaged in plastic barrels, with a net weight of 50Kg or 125Kg.

    ▪ This product is a water-based emulsion, non-flammable, and non-explosive; it is transported as non-hazardous goods.

    ▪ This product should be stored and transported at 5-35℃, with a shelf life of 6 months.
