    PU328-11K polyurethane emulsion for dyeing fire hoses

    Product Description

    This product is a hybrid PUA emulsion made from acrylic monomers and aliphatic polyurethane, with a soft film. It is used for dyeing fire hoses and civilian textile woven water pipes.

     

    Dyeing Principle

    Hose dyeing involves mixing water, water-based polyurethane emulsion, water-based color paste, and curing agent in a certain proportion to create a dispersion. Through a padding process, the hose is evenly coated with the colored liquid, then dried at high temperature. With the help of the water-based polyurethane emulsion, a colored resin film is formed on the fabric, mechanically fixing the pigment to the fiber, thus creating a colored fire hose with wear and water resistance.

    Process Flow

    Padding dyeing solution (one dip-pad, room temperature) → Infrared drying (infrared or hot air) → Drying (80~120℃, 2~5min) → Post-treatment → Inspection → Packaging.

     

    Precautions

    ▪ The temperature during padding should not be too high, generally room temperature. The preparation time of the working solution should not exceed 24 hours, mainly to prevent premature reaction of the water-based polyurethane, causing serious thickening and preventing normal dyeing.

    ▪ Drying should use contactless drying, such as infrared or hot air drying, and not roller drying.

    ▪ Must be thoroughly dried, otherwise it will affect color fastness and wear resistance.

     

    Packaging and Transportation

    ▪ This product is packaged in plastic barrels, with a net weight of 50Kg or 125Kg.

    ▪ This product is a water-based emulsion, non-flammable, non-explosive, and transported as non-dangerous goods.

    ▪ This product should be stored and transported at 5-35℃, with a shelf life of 6 months.
