Carefully crafted water-based ecological resin for you!
PU2233E
PU2233E Water-Based Flame-Retardant Polyurethane
Product Description
This product is a polyurethane emulsion made from aliphatic polyurethane and special high-molecular-weight bromine copolymer. The molecular structure contains inherent high-molecular-weight bromine elements, making it a good substitute for environmentally friendly bromine-based flame retardants. The flame retardancy is persistent, and the film formed is hard and transparent.
Physicochemical Indicators
▪ Appearance | : | Translucent emulsion |
▪ Solids content (%) | : | 33±1 |
▪ Acidity/Alkalinity | : | 7-8 |
▪ Ionicity | : | Anionic |
Performance Characteristics
▪ High oxygen index, transparent film formation, high film tensile strength, excellent water resistance, adhesion and abrasion resistance, no migration of flame-retardant elements, and persistent flame-retardant effect without reduction
▪ Improves pigment dispersibility and mechanical stability
▪ APEO and formaldehyde free
▪ Contains no added polybrominated or chlorinated flame retardants, no heavy metals, and complies with REACH and RoHS environmental standards
Application Range
▪ Synergistic effects can be achieved by adding inorganic flame retardants or phosphorus/nitrogen flame-retardant powders. Suitable for flame-retardant coatings for household textiles and flame-retardant treatment of industrial fiberglass products
▪ Flame-retardant treatment resins for plastics industry coatings, fire-resistant resins for wood structures, PET, and PVC film surface coatings, etc.
Precautions
▪ This product can be sprayed, scraped, or dipped as needed. It can be used in combination with other anionic or non-ionic PA and PU resins.
▪ After use, immediately cover the product to prevent skin formation and dust from affecting its use.
Packaging and Transportation
▪ This product is a water-based emulsion, non-flammable and non-explosive, and is transported as non-hazardous goods.
▪ This product should be transported and stored at 5-35℃, with a shelf life of six months. Net weight 50kg or 125kg plastic drum packaging.
